"A Dancer's Final Bow" describes a horrific accident which ended her dance career. Part II of the book contains portraits of eighteen women including "The Idol", "The Chameleon," " The Bitch," "The Coyote," "The Artist," "The Old-Fashioned Girl," " The Slut," "The Infanta."
