FLUENT is based on the Finite Element Method as the numerical solution to numerically simulate the fluid dynamics and heat transfer problems. There are a large number of commercial CFD packages in the market nowadays and CFD which is based on classical methods like Finite Difference Method, Finite Volume Method, Finite Element Method has established itself as a useful analysis and design tool. This book aims to provide the reader a user¿s guide and example manuals which provide knowledge of how to use the particular tool without going into deep details of deep mathematics or numerical algorithms and learning how to use FLUENT for predicting fluid flow pattern. This book will give them an informed choice when and how to apply CFD tools to a particular engineering problem.
