Johnny is the son of Brooklyn mobster Giovanni Falcone, growing up in the streets of Brooklyn. As a young man, he yearns to earn his father's approval and is drawn into the dark world of organized crime. Against his father's wishes, he gets involved with Mafia boss Vito Agostino, who takes him under his wing and secures a medical excuse for the Army.
