Set in a near future full of uselessly useful robots, All the Things a Bot Could Do tells the story of a father and daughter with creative differences. While world renowned inventor, Robert Bots, spends his time building robots to handle every menial chore, his daughter, Astrid, dreams of a friend to fill her lonely days and a dad to show her affection. Fed up, Astrid decides to sabotage her father's factory and inadvertently makes her own invention that turns their world upside down.
