Description
Emit Smith is an irregularity in the system of human beings. He came from nowhere and no one knows anything about parents. However, as an infant he was found by the headmaster of a secret school for gifted students, where enrolled and grew up. Soon those that knew him or knew of him saw that he was the intellectually superior. Emit always feels unrivaled in intelligence even by the teachers. That is until a girl named Victoria Henderson finally challenges his wisdom. To prove his superiority, Emit uses an underground lab to create an invention of unmatchable quality. Eventually, after three years of work, he finishes his experiment with some mysterious assistance along the way. The wormhole seems dangerous and the headmaster comes with Victoria to deactivate it, but instead Victoria and Emit accidentally get sent through it. Then the gateway seals itself leaving no way there or back. Trapped, they have to find a way back while dealing with Emit's lust for power and possible insanity.
