An accommodation of this theme cannot but confront certain philosophical dilemmas, such as the notion of a standard identity and the validity and ethic of suffering. Also the device of author and writer as two entities has been made use of for the sake of creative integrity. Doubtless there will be those who find this book heavy going, however the reward for persevering is not negligible.
