But this human placed a magical creature extremity inside a gemstone to create a Borrowed Artifact and unleashed... borrowed power. This artifact would allow for humans to channel magic power through their bodies to fight back against their oppressors. Hundreds of years passed and borrowed magic became more and more prominent. But... the Angels created the first curse. A terrible new kind of magic that would punish humans. They thought themselves immune for they had magic inside them. They thought wrong.
