Avery doesn't want a relationship, Reid does. So what happens when they decide to try out a vacation fling... over the phone?

Avery has given up on relationships. They always seem to take more than they give, and she is sick of it. She is resolute to just hookups, enjoying herself for a night and then walking away. But then, she meets Reid at her sister's wedding, and before they even have a chance to figure out the chemistry between them, he leaves to catch his flight back home. Now she is left wanting, having an itch that was never scratched, and the temptation may be too much for her to resist.

Reid has always wanted a relationship, always wanted the comfort and security that they bring. He just hasn't found his person yet. He travels to his best friend's wedding and there, he meets a woman who blows him right off his feet: the maid of honor. He and Avery hit it off right away, but before he knows it, he's late. He leaves quickly, needing to catch his flight. He gives her his number as a last-ditch effort. He doesn't think she will even use it, but to his surprise, she does. They start their fling with an end in sight, both of them thinking that the distance will be too hard. Yet, the longer they talk, the harder it is to deny that there may be more between them than just lust.
