Brynleigh Tavish, a small bookstore owner and community activist, is thrust into a large land development corporation when her mother, the President and owner, becomes ill. Colton Bruens, recently discharged from the military due to an injury, is laying low at his boyhood home where his brother has created a safe haven for juvenile boys. When plans for a new casino threaten the boys ranch, Colton picks up his battle gear once again and fights for the ranch.
