The chemical processing industry is responsible for the chemical processing of raw materials into completed goods or intermediate goods that have a new chemical structure. Examples of such new materials include oleochemicals, rubber, agrochemicals, explosives, petrochemicals, polymers, perfumes, ceramics and flavors.
