This book starts with poems that I wrote when I was a teenager. I wrote with a lot of negative emotions (sad, anger, confusion) because of the life I had lived at the time and all I knew how to do was put my pen to the paper. There was a good span of maybe 10 years that I didn't write anything, but I did experience life (adulthood, love, motherhood) in a better light; during those years, it felt great to be in control of my life and the things in my life. When I was reminded how it felt to write, my words too were in a better light, I had so many new and exciting things to write about. By the end of the book, I hope you enjoyed and can appreciate or possibly relate to my journey through my words.
