Description

Set in Dublin, Ireland, 'Confessions From Dublin' is a collection of short stories. '[email protected]' relates to the perils of looking for internet love. If a woman refers to herself as 'Mad Monica', be careful, very careful. Louis should have taken heed. 'Dicing With Disaster' is what gangster, Gentleman Jim Jewell, loves most, but his devil-may-care, reckless attitude leads to much trouble when he offers more than drugs to a cop's wife. In 'A Stranger In Tallaght', wannabe businessman, Colin, encounters a mysterious stranger, not once but twice in his lifetime. Was the stranger real or a figment of his imagination? 'Splinter' tells of a nun, Sister Maria, ' who witnesses a heinous crime, and how she deals with the emotional aftermath. She also grapples with her conscience, questions her vows, and becomes increasingly disappointed with the hierarchy of her church. 'Pessimistic Paulie' is a tale about an insecure security man. A hilarious story, it recounts one day in the life of gormless Paulie. 'Fairy Tale Of Dublin' is a story about a homeless man, his encounter with a philanthropist, and his subsequent chance of redemption.
