A distinct chill went up Professor Elaine Wright's spine. She slowly turned around and her heart dropped when she saw the ghost of a young girl standing near the road. Like the other ghosts Elaine had encountered, the girl was translucent. Elaine could make out her features, but if she looked closely she could see through her to the woods beyond. The girl had shoulder length, brown hair, and Elaine could see where a dimple was hidden in her cheek. Elaine's heart sank; it was the ghost of Marsha Swanson, the first victim and the girl who had been in her dream.Marsha shook her head, and tears began to roll down her cheek.
