The author offers a number of bold interpretations and explanations, making use of the scientific methodology otherwise reserved for the study of Nature. In particular many prima facie purely religious instances are found to be invented for the sake of current political needs. Particular attention is paid to those biblical narratives which appear the ideological source for the present day political turmoil on the Near East.
