The action takes place in the mountains of Western Maine,plus one episode in Trenton, NJ. The hermit overcome his paranoia and developsa partnership with Matilda. About the Author A. Dewey Richards M.D. is a retired Family Physician. He grew up on a large dairy farm, served in the 82nd Airborn Division, then worked his way through the University of Maine and Tufts Medical School. After fifteen years in rural Family Practice, he became an educator, first directing the Family Practice Residency at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, Maine for five years, then two years as Associate Professor at Tufts Medical school, before he accepted the position of Professor and Chairman of the Department of Family Practice at the Medical College of Hampton Roads in Norfolk Virginia. He completed his career establishing and operating MedNow Urgent Care centers in Maine and Massachussets. Now retired, he continues his medical research, producing a weekly e-mail update on advances in medicine to suppliment his recent book on aging, Live Lively Longer, 2004 edition.
