I'm fortunate enough to be a graduate of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA and an Elder at Quaker Memorial Presbyterian Church in Lynchburg, VA. Most importantly I'm a native of The Blue Ridge Mountains. My life was shaped by my time growing up in Central and Southwest Virginia. On September 1, 2022 my Dad lost his battle with congestive heart failure. Processing his loss led me to realize I've been dealing with an underlying grief for years before Dad's death. He told many stories of family and friends, so I listened. In attempt to cling to the past and make connections, I find my passed loved ones in imagination or reality.
