For example, you can multiply by five by simply reading off half of each digit from left-to-right and adding on a zero when you're done. For 2 × 5, you would simply say 10 because half of 20 is 10. Try reading off the answers to the following: 4×5=, 28×5=, 624×5=, 268,462,422×5=. What do you do with an odd digit? Find out inside.
