A turning point occurs in his life when he comes face to face with a hotheaded deserter and police brutality, but that is the least of his worries-he and his lovely wife Donna face constant danger because they are being stalked by the deserter himself! Many challenges face Maurice as he is not only seeking justice for being brutalized by the police and at the same time, protecting both he and Donna from the crazed stalker, but is also putting everything he stands for to the test when he is offered the position of a lifetime-provided, of course, he does not testify at a murder trial of an elderly man who as it turns out, was forced to make a confession. In addition, he also finds himself helping a beloved foreman-who was fired by a ruthless Board of Directors-get his job back.
