Description

Dirty Squatters is a non fictional, often gaggingly comical story of post-punk squatting life inside Margaret Thatcher's Britain. Set against the backdrop of 80s and 90s London with ventures into the squatting culture in Holland and Germany during that period.

A story from the rebellious, pissed off, Generation X, supported by a great and varied music scene, in London's vibrant venues. This was the era of wild nightclubbing, free festivals, and free housing if you could manage a bit of random plumbing and squat carpentry.

Many of the Walkman generation lived this way, swapping demo tapes in the mail and arranging gigs in vandalized phone kiosks, before we had Internet service.
