Forty plus years ago, God placed them in each other's lives, along with a foundation for a friendship that would later defy time, distance, and the vagaries of life. More than forty years after their families took them in separate directions, they "refound" each other, reconnected, and renewed a friendship that felt as if it were always there- and it had been...in their hearts. Today, God has brought these women full circle, only children who rediscovered the "sister" each was missing. Now, one a writer/photographer, the other a writer, they share, through pictures and words, the insights God has given them on life, love, the many shapes of family, the strength and meaning of friendship, and the infinite unseen ways God works to place each of us exactly where we should be, right at the time we should be there, with those who truly love us.
