This novel attributes certain fictional acts promoted by these spies resulting in widespread and multiple disasters in both countries. While a work of fiction, it is possible that Nazi agents could have setteled in the Great Lakes Island areas and were, in fact , responsible for some of the calamities in both countries during the war.
