The firm of Matasar and O'Conner has scored their biggest client yet: the Catholic Church. Sean O'Conner's brother John put the firm in touch with the Archbishop after a good friend of his, Father Damien, was accused of abuse at a boxing gym back in the 1980s. Sean, as a retired boxer, immediately sees something improbable about the situation. With his boxing knowledge combined with Cindy's investigative expertise, they're on their way to a solid defense, despite pushback from a seriously roid-ragey investigator on the staff of the law firm representing the priests. Fortunately one of the lawyers there has their backs, as well as a black belt in karate. They'll need her help for sure as their investigator's license is threatened to be revoked, Sean's car and home are vandalized and witnesses start getting TKO'd...permanently.
