Once a member of the now extinct Order of The Dragonslayers, Lee-Kang Zhou has lost nearly everything he once cared about: his friends, his home, his mission. His existence, marred by the haunting memories of fallen friends and a home now in ruins, is a shadow of its former glory. Clinging to the remnants of his past, Kang's life is now bound to his wise mentor, Zhonghua, and his spirited young nephew, Kai. Suddenly Kang is catapulted into the heart of a sprawling conspiracy that snakes its way to the highest echelons of imperial power, at its core a sinister plot to resurrect the malevolent Dragon King, Wuye, an entity whose power threatens to obliterate the realm of men. Joined by a figure from his past and bolstered by new and old allies, Kang must seek out his estranged sister and confront the daunting specter of his own legacy.
