Description

Outer space is fascinating to almost everyone. In this Draw Space-related Objects: Challenging Guided Practice book, you will be able to copy a variety of 30 space-related drawings. Each drawing is created within a group of squares. Beside the drawing is a set of blank squares for you to copy the drawing in. The following page contains two more sets of blank squares in which you can practice drawing the picture again. The easiest way to do this is to take one square at a time and duplicate the example in that square, then move to another one and do the same. The pictures you are copying may be somewhat challenging, depending upon your experience in drawing. As you continue to copy them, you will become better and better in drawing the pictures.

These are your drawings. They do not have to be perfect. The most important thing is to have fun and enjoy recreating the pictures. Just like learning any other skill, your work will continue to improve more and more with practice. Using a pencil to draw with will allow you to erase and correct anything that does not please you.

Colorists will benefit from this book by

  • Using fine motor skills with your hand, eyes, and brain working together
  • Actively using both sides of the brain, the left side being responsible for logical thinking and the right for creativity
  • Improving your concentration and ability to focus on what you are doing
  • Learning how to follow and duplicate guides in drawing
  • Developing attention to details
  • Being able to take pride in each finished page

Following through with projects and having a sense of accomplishment and pride in the completed challenge are important to an individual's development.
