Learning the ways of magic as the new leader of the World Wiccan Council, Nansi Richardson is tasked with recruiting new blood from a former friend of her late uncle, Julien Desmond. With Howard in tow, the couple travel to Prague and become intertwined in the lives of policeman Goran Novotny and his family.

It soon becomes known to both of them that Goran is obsessed with finding the murderer of his first wife but Nansi and Howard can't anticipate that what he is truly hunting...is a werewolf.
