Description

But when Eli, after the loss of his sight, begins experiencing heightened senses, Bug discovers an opportunity that could work to their advantage. She brings Eli to the town of Fontaine, home of the Blake Institute for the Blind, in the hopes that he can be evaluated and become a part of the elite sensory training program (HEST).
However, the pair are sidetracked when they're told Bug's ten-year-old cousin Scooter's best friend has disappeared. And, less than twenty-four hours after their arrival in Fontaine, Scooter and his dog Chowder go missing as well.
