This is Early's debut as an author, although some of her work has been published previously. Five of the poems found here were first published in 2003 in Mylia Jaza's second book of poetry, Life Is Beautiful: La Vita Es Hermosa. Always writing from her soul, whether rushing to write or hesitating to deal with the subject matter head-on, Early is regarded as one of the diamonds seen past a beach's sand by many of those already familiar with her work.
