Wyoming highway patrol trooper Matt Gannett becomes obsessed with finding the killer of his fourteen-year-old sister, Hope. Following the clues leads them to Idaho, where the killer has struck again, kidnapping and raping another young girl. Tracking him to Boise, followed by a high-speed chase through the small towns back to the Idaho or Wyoming border, provides the suspense and intrigue of his capture. Trusting strangers is a bad idea, but when you're young and want to please everyone, going with what a stranger wants you to do is dangerous.
