Digital image processing is the practice of computer algorithms to accomplish processing of features on images. There are various techniques found in processing of features such as, image acquisition, image enhancement, image restoration, image registration, color image processing, compression, segmentation, representation and description, object recognition. Image Registration (IR) is the major method employed in the applications of image processing techniques. It is a procedure of altering different sets of data into one co-ordinate system to monitor the variations between them.
