Most of the current available symmetric encryption algorithms effects from a tradeoff between execution price and resulting performances. Also, these algorithms aim to implement efficiently on a variety of platforms like variable input size and variable processor size. Scalable encryption algorithm (SEA) is an encryption algorithm which is proposed to be intended for processors with a restricted instruction set for providing scalability in input size and processor size. SEA is scalable in the text, key and processor size. It permits securing a small encryption routine intended to any particular processor. The security of the cipher can be modified in purpose of its key size.
