This is a simple yet earnest effort by the poet to confront and creatively word her thoughts and feelings on a myriad of things and people of the world that inspired her to pick up her pen. Death is a subject she often touches upon, directly and metaphorically, throughout the book, finding the end state fascinating and mystical in nature, it being the conclusion to all things human. Yet, there's a lot of life in her words too, exciting, pulsing, throbbing.
