Cassie's friend, Dr. Roger Stanton, also encountered some dark arts of his own while investigating inside an ancient cave in Greece; one that the villagers state has demonic spirits roaming freely within it. Finally, there is the mysterious circumstances revolving around an old estate, the Spence Estate, which has recently come into the possession of Cassie's new friend Eric. The original owner had committed suicide in the estate's attic, and stories had been circulating that he might have also had connections with The Society.
