In Indian universities management system has been upgraded and using new media technology for easy and smooth functioning of library activities. A couple of decades back manual work were been used over a time innovative technology has been developed and implemented very widely across Indian University. Apparently, American technology is being used in India. Training and knowledge orientation for staff conducted very often for incorporation of knowledge and new education system for betterment of university functioning. Online book issue has become boon for students, for usage of library facilities in systematic way. The study deals with staff development and training matters at the University. It emphasis in terms of staff development policy, training needs of the library staff, budgetary allocation for staff development and staff motivation.
