A Hollywood film crew has taken over Modest Peak, using the small mountain town as a setting to film a blockbuster movie. And where this is good for business, tourism, and the town in general, it's bad for Constance. A very large portion of the movie is being filmed in The Lone Peak Hotel, effectively closing down the hotel in the process.But Constance is trying to see the bright side of things, using the time away from her hotel as a much-needed break. When a dead body turns up on set, she decides not to investigate. That is until Sheriff Nevil pushes her over the line, forces her hand and bets her that he can solve the case first.Starting out strangely, with a lead so over the top that it wouldn't be out of place in a Hollywood movie plot. As more bodies join the first, the plot thickens, twists and turns.
