If you had met Einstein while he was still a teenager, before he'd ever achieved anything truly spectacular, would you recognize him for what he was? Would you be able to identify his potential for greatness in mathematics where others had condemned him to failure before-or would you be ostentatiously oblivious to the obvious until only after the fact- the discovery of relativity.If you were witness to one of John Lennon's earlier-years basement jam sessions with his local crew of misfits, would you be able to hear their potential ahead of its prominence, or would you dismiss them as just another group of silly kids with big dreams, no aim, and a ton of talent?
