Unable to live peacably side by side, the five kingdoms adhere to formal rules and regulations surrounding warfare, ensuring that combat is kept strictly between those men and women who have been trained to survive it. Although each kingdom has its own codes of conduct, there is one principle upon which everyone agrees:
Soldiers go to war. War does not go to the cities.
As one of Eidyn's warriors, Brennin Rheadan has lived his entire life by this precept.
