My whole house is a beige-crème world,
And my grandpa's clock counts "tick-tock",
The water drips, the stairs screech,
And I keep dreaming of a sandy beach.
And another:
It was a high noon many summers ago
When a traveling wizard rested here just so.
He floated around on a giant lily pad,
And made the frogs sing with the magic he had.
And another:
It will take me up high on a magical quest,
Where I'll float to the drowsy land of the West,
Where blue ribbons of rivers quietly run
Through the meadows lit by the tired sun.
