Moses Gould, a joyfully cynical Jew who resides at Beacon House who thinks Smith is at best a fool and at worst a crook, and Dr. Cyrus Pym, an American criminal expert appointed by Dr. Warner, make up the prosecution; Michael Moon and Arthur Inglewood represent the defense.
