She meets Joanne, a mother of four?three of whom are triplets (on "leashes" that lead off-stage). Just one baby tires Meg out?how can Joanne do so well with four? Then Judy comes by. She is even more the "perfect mom." Three weeks since her delivery, she's back in shape and teaching aerobics. She's also carting around her preschooler to daily gymnastics, swimming, and interactive play workshops. The more Judy and Joanne talk, the more Meg feels inadequate. As Judy and Joanne go off to break up a fight between their kids, Meg sarcastically mutters to herself about what an encouragement it was to go to the park!
