Scholars will undoubtedly challenge some of his textual emendations and some of the specific interpretations, but the commentary as a whole should be acclaimed as providing the serious reader with a reasonable and consistent understanding of the canonical book of Micah. with its religious and theological message of timeless significance' (D.
