This book elucidates genetic algorithm to design a novel wired genetic antenna by using traditional wired antenna and fractal antenna. This newly designed antenna helps to reduce the existing size of the antenna by the chromosomal recombination of two different kinds of antennas. It also explores a new kind of antenna by mounting wired genetic antenna on the aperture coupled microstrip antenna to enhance different parameters of the microstrip antenna. This resultant antenna structure helps to improve the gain and the bandwidth of the antenna. This book also explains the relationship between antenna network and different parameters of antenna such as directivity, gain and efficiencies in terms of s-parameters. It represents the simulation results of different optimization process with the help of method of moment and MATLAB software.
