Bill Shuart is the director of the Institute for Rehabilitation Science and Engineering at Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska. Will Spaulding is a professor of psychology at the University of Nebraska¿Lincoln. He is chair of the American Psychological Association¿s Task Force on Serious Mental Illness and the director of State Government Affairs in the Nebraska Psychological Association. Jeffrey Poland is professor of curriculum and instruction at the University of Nebraska¿Lincoln and the author of Physicalism: The Philosophical Foundations and coauthor (with Will Spaulding) of Treatment and Rehabilitation of Severe Mental Illness.
