Excavations for a spa in the grounds of the former Government House (now a luxury hotel and casino) uncover the remains of a French soldier in a locked trunk, apparently tortured to death. The discovery threatens to derail delicate post-Brexit negotiations and two civil servants, Mike and Sharon, are under increasing pressure from the PM's office to avoid by any means British culpability for the death of the French hero.
