This book presents the small-signal ac modeling and closed loop control of three-phase interleaved and three stage converter. The multi-phased dc-dc converters contain several parallel power stages, with unique voltage mode controlled loop to attain the desired output voltage. State¿space modeling methodology has been adopted to have linearized small-signal ac equivalent model of the converter. The interleaved three-phase converter is averaged over its one switching period and perturbed with small ac variations and linearized around its quiescent point to have a small signal ac model. Type III compensation is employed to improve the frequency response and closed loop control of three-phase converter. The controller design procedure is discussed in detail.
