FOREWORD Suicide is one of the worst sins against God, self and humanity. It has a tripartite consequence and implication to human relationship. In African traditional set up for instance, suicide is an abomination. It requires punitive measures to appease the gods, cleanse the land, and atone for the wrong done to the family relationship. In the sight of God, suicide is equally an abomination for no one has the right to terminate his or her life or that of another person. For one to contemplate suicide means that such a one is the number one enemy of God Almighty and His purpose of creation.
