Gone are the days when non-existent schools became one-roomed school houses. Newark's modern school system boasts multiple elementary, middle, high school, and adult educational facilities. The downtown area is now on the brink of revitalization. New buildings are being built and old ones renovated. The public square is undergoing a complete transformation.
