Richard Camardo lived a life full of immense satisfaction including a delightful 42-year marriage to the love of his life, three children, two grandchildren and numerous successful business ventures. In a matter of a few seconds, his life took an ill-fated turn after a fall in his home that turned out to be much more serious than was expected. "Paint a Picture" was born in the begining years of his challenging struggles to recover from his life-altering head injury. Rick crafted this book in a poetic and artistic format to portray the breadth of his emotions, and to capture his efforts to heal through words & pictures while awaiting feelings of hope. His family greatly encouraged him to share his experiences, and he hopes this compilation will inspire anyone struggling with a trying TBI recovery.
