Zelda is certainly no princess. Living in the big city, alienated from a family and society too busy to notice, she lives primarily in the video game realm. Zelda (she prefers "Zee)" is content to spend her mornings grabbing coffee with her best friend Lindsay, her days writing about the latest gaming technology as a columnist for "Gamer Power" magazine, and her nights slaying video game baddies as far as possible from the club scene other 30-sometimes live in. Sure, she wishes she could meet a handsome "Player 2" in the flesh and bond over shared talk of cheat codes, but her last GAME OVER was enough to cure the lonesome feeling.

Zee wants nothing to do with pHantastic Planet, an new video game that is part rad roleplaying and part meddling matchmaking. Though, when the world falls in love with the game, Zee must give in to this fad world-builder to write a story investigating the inner workings of the game. While interviewing the game's handsome, haughty billionaire creator, things get weird. Zee is swept into the game and trapped, forced to play her way through and defeat the final boss if she wants to ever get back to her comfortable reality. Zee joins up with a handsome knight because, after all, it is dangerous to go alone. Yet, even so, will she escape in time from ...PHANTASTIC PLANET
