She is an intelligent little frog who mostly enjoys life in her lily pad village. At first, she is frustrated with her life, but through encouragement, support, and a paradigm shift, she begins to look at life differently and changes her attitude to "I like it a lot!" Many of the fun words in this story have moved out of fashion and take us back in the evolution of language. I enjoyed these words in my childhood and have enjoyed bringing them to print for a new generation of children. The character of Philomena is based on my own childhood feelings, as well as the feelings I observed in children during my teaching career. Enjoy!
