In a former life Talia would only know Cole Callahan as a file on her boss' desk, a face in the crowd that she'd once given directions to that one time he'd gone running headfirst into a crumbling building. Her life would be very cookie cutter, living and working with her best friend. The most exciting thing that would happen to her would be lived vicariously through her fellow Anomaly co-workers of The Pravitas Department. In this life though, she followed Cole. She and her best friend were kidnapped by the Skye Tower Anomalies. Cole decided to come back to the department with her and join it. Her former life became a fond and distant memory. Now Cole is a Pravitas Anomaly. Talia's teaching him the ropes and finally getting to be out in the field while she does it. Her only problem? Cole still doesn't trust- or even like- most of them, and he's too obviously here only to protect the Skye Tower group from the department. She likes Cole, and thinks he can actually help the department, but getting him to see that past his personal bias is proving harder than it should be and torn loyalties could land both of them in serious trouble.
